"Teenager Liebe" (Teenager love) is a punk song by Die Ärzte. It's sung from the viewpoint of a teenage boy, who's in love with a girl from his school, but is sad, because the girl loves another one; thus, the only thing left for the boy to do is dream.

There are three versions of the song:

The first version was released on the 1983 EP Zu schön, um wahr zu sein!. It was later re-released on Die Ärzte früher! as the first track, where it was dubbed "Teenager Liebe (echt)" (authentic).

The second version of the song was released on the following EP Uns geht's prima... (1984) and was also re-released on Die Ärzte früher! as the sixteenth and last track, dubbed "Teenager Liebe (unecht)" (fake). It is also the only single from this 1989 compilation.

The third version was recorded for Original Ärztesoundtrack zum Film "Richy Guitar" (1985) with Axel Knabben on saxophone. This was re-released on Devil.

Teenager Liebe (unecht)/Gute Nacht

Teenagerliebe was then released as single in 1989. The B-side, "Gute Nacht" [Good night] is performed live, September '84 Berlin, Open Air.
